Day of Prayer 16th September 2020

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1Thessalonians 5:16-18

Prayer isn’t an optional extra to our organisation, but absolutely vital to the ongoing work. 2020 has certainly reminded us of our dependence on God and the necessity of prayer.

On Wednesday 16th September, we’re encouraging our supporters from across the world to be united in praying together for the people and projects of Blythswood Care. This is why we’re calling it a Day of Prayer for Blythswood Care.

Our Day of Prayer guide includes 12 different areas of the work that could be prayed for over 12 hours, one area every hour. Or you could select a few areas to pray over with friends, a small group, or at your prayer meeting.

There is power in prayer, not because of who we are, or because of the organisation we represent, but because of who God is and because of what Jesus has done.

Please join us in 12 hours of prayer to help us unite in praying for the work in the UK and overseas.

Receive our prayer diary in the post 3 times a year or by email every fortnight. A point of prayer for each new day.
