Finlay Mackenzie

Projects Manager

Finlay is the Projects Manager at Blythswood Care.  From a crofting background at Knockfarrel, Finlay’s early years were spent as a tractor mechanic.  Having watched a television report on the heart breaking conditions faced by Romanians, Finlay felt a strong desire and God’s leading to reach out and help.  This led to work as a volunteer with Blythswood, and from 1996 Finlay has worked here full time and gone on to build successful, fruitful and lasting relationships with partners in Romania, Hungary, Moldova, Kosovo, Serbia, Ukraine and Albania. Finlay feels it is a great privilege to be part of this work and has witnessed at first hand the difference Blythswood has made in people’s lives.
