Gordy (top left), Lorne (top right), Iain (bottom left) and Kate-Marie (bottom right), join Richard McCallum, Lorimer Gray and chairman David Laing to make up Blythswood Care’s current Board of Trustees. David says: “We are delighted to have Kate-Marie, Gordy, Iain and Lorne on board. Each has different experience and insights to offer but we share the same core convictions and commitment to Blythswood’s mission.”
Meet our new trustees
Gordy Mackay
With a background in accounting and economics, Gordy now serves as Community Pastor at Perth Baptist Church. Gordy is married to Julie with two sons.
Lorne Millar
Lorne served in Health Improvement with the NHS but later studied theology. She now serves as a 20schemes Women’s Worker at Lambhill Evangelical Church in the north west of Glasgow where her husband Tommy is pastor. They have two grown-up children.
Kate-Marie Macrae
Living in the west Highlands, Kate-Marie is married to Neil and spends most of her time looking after their four children. She works as a pupil support assistant, cleans holiday homes, and cares for a flock of sheep. Kate-Marie has a degree in health sciences.
Iain MacLelland
A former police officer, Iain is employed as a Welfare Operations Manager, supporting Afghan citizens who worked for the UK government. He is married to Kathleen and they have two daughters and live in Inverness.
