Europe
Blythswood’s work in Europe is long-established and far-reaching. Working in Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine, we support people affected by poverty, trauma and exploitation through education, rehabilitation and the provision of immediate relief.
Much of our work takes place in some of Europe’s poorest regions. At the same time, in countries such as Ukraine, we are responding to the devastating impact of war.
We work alongside local partners and communities to meet educational, physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

Talita Kum
When schools close at midday, many children and young people have to fend for themselves. Talita Kum provides an after-school programme for children from some of the poorest households in Romania.
The children receive clothing, showers, nourishing meals and help with their homework, helping to change their longer-term futures for good.

Camps – “Providing stability and structure through wholesome, nurturing and fun activities. Many of the children attending camps come from backgrounds of extreme poverty. A week at camp is an unimaginable dream for many that you can make possible. Through the camps the children hear about God’s love and how their lives can be changed through Jesus forever.”

The Daniel Centre provides skills and support to offer them hope and future.
